About Me
Hi and welcome to my blog! My name is Wassa Bagayoko and for the next academic year, I'll be teaching English in Côte d'Ivoire.
I am a first-generation Malian American from New York City. For undergrad, I attended Brown University where I studied International Relations with a focus on human rights and climate change. There, I became a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. In my free time, I love to hike, bake, paint, and take care of my plants. Amongst other things, I consider myself an environmentalist, a teacher, and an activist and I’ll be bringing all of these identities and more into my posts!
